Program
The Soledad Experience
Residents in our recovery program typically spend 90 days plus in our program. We have a comprehensive substance-abuse and relapse prevention program designed for women who demonstrate a willingness to change. We are state licensed and court approved. Our team is knowledgeable and highly credentialed enabling them to offer premium recovery services within the confines of our safe, secure, and sober environment. We understand that treatment of alcoholism has a standard approach through the 12 steps, which we embrace, yet we also individualize and create tailored exercises that will best nurture the growth of the women in our community. We have designed a treatment program that incorporates both traditional and integrative therapies to assist you in your recovery.
The following services are provided to our residents:
- Individualized care and personalized treatment plans
- Addiction and Relapse Prevention Education
- 12-Step Program
- A talented, compassionate, and dedicated team of licensed, credentialed professionals
- Multiple, weekly, group and individual therapy sessions
- A nurturing, healing environment that solidifies your recovery while preparing you to return to the "real world"
- A safe, low traffic, male-free environment with the highest privacy standards
- A vast community of committed people succeeding in their own recovery
- A family program that not only helps rebuild the client’s life but also those of family members
- After Care Program

Phases: Soledad House Women’s Recovery Home utilizes a phase system to most effectively transition our residents from a high level of care through discharge.
Phase 1 includes residence in our low traffic, male prohibited housing. A structured schedule provides high accountability and when appropriate residents have various freedoms i.e. car, phone, laptops, etc.
Phase 2 residents move onto one of our sober living homes. All housing is intentionally within 1 sq. mile, keeping the community close, both physically and emotionally. Phase 2 affords the opportunity to transition into a recovered life by giving women peer-on-peer accountability as well as a chance to create their own schedules to best reproduce life once they have completed the program.
Living Life
A line from “The Big Book” Alcoholics Anonymous states, “We absolutely insist on enjoying life.” Soledad House understands that a common sentiment from many whom are newly sober is, “a life of sobriety will be dull.” Our experience is quite the opposite. During your stay at Soledad house just a few of the activities you will experience include: Snowboarding/skiing, camping, going out to restaurants, sober parties, bowling, roller skating as well as being located less than two miles from the beach affords the opportunity for surfing or just a day at the beach.
